Multilayered Poron for durability, elasticity and crush resistance; provides support and softness.
10mm thick Poron plugs can be removed from the bottom to relieve pressure where needed. 5mm thick Poron top layer always stays in place for constant cushioning.
Soft, comfortable, and durable Alcantara top cover resists sheer; is bacteria resitant and wicks away moisture.
Soft, low-density Poron closest to foot (dorsal) and higher density Poron underneath for support.
Fabric diaphram between removable plugs and nonremovable layers eliminates abrupt edges along offloaded area and reduces "bottoming out".
Available in 5 sizes to fit common post-surgical shoes. (Sizes fit same-sized Darco® APBTM Shoes without alteration.)
Can be trimmed as needed to fit other shapes and sizes.

Custom comfort
Great shoe thar is allowing the wound on the bottom of my foot heal. Dr Campbell at St. Luke's custom altered the insole to allow weight distribution around my wound. Thank you Bonapeda! WILLIAM

Healed my 90 year old mother-in-law's chronic pressure sores
Jan 11, 2025 - Shoes and insert arrived yesterday. I adjusted the insert and everything fit nicely. My mother in law was quite comfortable and walked more normally. It was a huge boost for her and she even went for a walk in the frigid temps just to test them out. Thank you for your expert guidance and excellent product! ------------ July 1, 2025 - Follow Up: Thanks to you and the doctor her wounds have healed. You made a complex and confusing subject easier to comprehend and navigate. ----------- Nov 12, 2025 - My 90 year old mother-in-law has worn the DARCO closed- toe shoe with Offloading insole for a year. She has healed pressure sores with this combination despite severe arthritic deformities in her toes. We just ordered a fresh pair because the fabric is starting to show cosmetic wear after a year of continuous use. In fact, we have so much confidence in the protection these shoes and insoles provide her feet that we ordered two new pairs of shoes and will reuse a set of insoles.
Bonapeda graciously shared a method for cleaning the insole and made a video to help us keep the straps short enough. They have thought of everything to keep their customers comfortable and protected so they can actually heal and keep walking.
We are completely satisfied with the products and especially the individual care we have been shown to be sure we get the best fit, protection and comfort possible.
