As soon as I received my first pair I ordered a second pair. They do what a proper orthotic insole should do. Being uncertain of sizing I emailed and called. I received prompt and accurate information as well as a prompt delivery. I was first told about them by a very professional podiatrist who urged me to purchase BONAPEDA. I bought this shoe to wear and aid in the healing of a foot ulcer on my right big toe. Interestingly the order still shows as "processing" but I received it in good time. The insole allows you to remove some of the tabs to create more offloading room for the affected toe and works well. The insole, so far, has not come apart or any other of the squares come lose and is very comfortable. the straps work fine and hold the shoe steady. Three stars for the shoe itself as I wear it every day and work as a trim carpenter. I have already wore a hole through the top of the shoe over the big toe and would recommend some reinforcement. I have a piece of black gorilla tape covering the hole. Some threads are coming out of the shoe where the sole is sewn. I would say that if there were a person to put this shoe through its paces, it would be me. Most folks would probably not be as active. It is working in the healing of my foot, thats for sure.
